Become a "Friends of the Octagon House" Member

Without your generous support, the preservation of the truly unique and historic Loren Andrus Octagon House would not be possible. By joining the Friends of the Octagon House, you unite with many interesting people who already enjoy the special privileges of membership. These include a quarterly newsletter keeping you up to date on news, improvements, and special events; free admission to open houses; discounts of the ticket prices for special events and our well loved themed teas; as well as invitations to member's only events. Enjoy all this while supporting one of the world's most beautiful and charming octagon house museums.

We invite you to become a new member, renew your membership, or share membership with a friend or loved one by giving a gift membership today! Your membership will be based on an annual year. Also, please be sure to visit our "Save the Barns" link to learn more about the special fundraising effort that is underway to restore another important piece of Octagon House history. 

We offer a variety of membership levels:


Individual - $25.00

  • Includes a pass for one person to open house events, plus a $5 discount on teas and special events. 

Couple - $50.00

  • Includes passes for two persons to open house events, a $5 discount on teas and special events, plus a 5-percent discount on purchases made in Flora's Gift Shoppe. 

Family - $100.00

  • Includes passes for four persons to open house events, a $5 discount each for four persons to teas and special events, plus a 10-percent discount on purchases made in Flora's Gift Shoppe.

Heritage - $200.00

  • Includes passes for six persons to all open house events, a $5 discount each for six persons to teas and special events, plus a 15-percent discount on purchases made in Flora's Gift Shoppe.

Benefactor - $300.00

  • Includes passes for eight persons to all open house events, a $5 discount to teas and special events, plus a 20-percent discount on purchases made in Flora's Gift Shoppe.
